Why Women Still Can’t Have It All
Anne-Marie Slaughter
November 6, 2015
As part of the Distinguished Speaker Series, sponsored
by Accenture and in partnership with RamsayTalks,
author and president of the think-tank New America
Anne-Marie Slaughter discussed the ongoing struggle for
gender equality, including her own choice to leave a senior
position at the U.S. State Department to devote more time to
her family. The sold-out crowd heard a thought-provoking
dialogue on how to redefine the meaning of equality in
the workplace. Participants left the event with a copy of
Slaughter’s new book,
Unfinished Business
, in which she
charts how to finish the business of the women’s movement.
