overseas investments in 2015. As part of the Distinguished
Speaker Series, Dr. Simon Galpin, Director-General,
Invest Hong Kong and Professor Tony Chan, President,
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology discussed
Hong Kong’s emergence as the super-connector for Mainland
Chinese companies that are ‘going global.’ Galpin and Chan
outlined how Canadian companies can benefit from Hong
Kong’s current position as a hot spot for multinationals and
startups with global export strategies, including generating
partnerships to fulfill their business needs.
